Search our records to find out if a maquiladora enterprise currently holds an active maquiladora export permit. The permit allows the maquiladora enterprise to buy items they will export to Mexico without paying sales tax.

Sellers are not required to confirm an entity's permit status in order to accept an exemption certificate, but the maquiladora enterprise must give the seller a properly completed exemption certificate along with a copy of the export permit, in accordance with Rule 3.358.
